Hello Everyone!
My Gastric bypass was on February 6, 2015 and the recovery was a little more than I expected. Tough being off work for about 3 weeks but feeling great now. Today is March 10, 2015 about 4 1/2 weeks since surgery. I am down 29 pounds and fitting into some of my clothes that I have not been able to wear for quite a while. Some of the symptoms are pretty similar to the band when it comes to quantity and types of food. I feel much better not being able to feel the band device in the area it was placed. Heres to continuing losing and feeling better. Need to walk more often!!!
I am a 42 year old woman with 3 great kids and a WONDERFUL husband. I was banded on June 10, 2011 by Dr. Boone at ALSA in Fresno, CA.

Hello, Hello, Hello,
I have not posted in a long time. My new update is not a good one but we are going to make some changes and move forward. I have decided to have the gastric bypass. In the last 2 years I have gained all of my weight back and am disappointed that I did not do the gastric to begin with. I have gone through all of the hoops and surgery is scheduled for February 6, 2014 in Fresno CA. Only two more weeks. I do not want to fail again so I am putting myself in a completely different mind set. I will succeed and use my resources. My husband is being very supportive however he is nervous. Well I hope for some feedback from anyone elses experiences.
See you soon
